A new SEPTA rail

system map

Replacing angles with arcs

This design represents an effort
to improve the existing SEPTA
rail map, with its grotesque rivers, clogged typography, distracting handicapped notation, and con- fusing attachment to geographic rail line configurations. It also adds two New Jersey rail lines
and clarifies where individual commuter rail routes branch out from the trunk lines.
