Étude d'Aménagement
Planning study for central Geneva, Switzerland
The Quartier des Grottes is a neighborhood in Geneva, Switzerland, behind the railroad station and post office, which by 1970 had beome inadequate to handle the new TGV (trains de grand vitesse) trains. This two- volume book explains the impact studies on the neighborhood
that were done and schematic infrastrucure and relocation strategies.
The book was printed in 15 colors on a one-color press by a 19-year old apprentice in a pressroom that was not climate controlled (but it had a door and a wood- burning stove).
